01 Dec Erasmus Fiscal Studies (EFS) conference in Rotterdam

At Durá Tax&Legal we have had the honor of participating in the Erasmus Fiscal Studies (EFS) conference “Similarities between artist/sportsman taxation and pillar 1 (and 2) and how to learn from VAT developments” that was held in Rotterdam. A conference that was a comparative approach from the viewpoint of direct and indirect taxation, and raised how states can states cooperate to avoid loss of tax revenue, eliminate double taxation and minimize administrative expenses.

Within the framework of this conference, our Managing partner, Luis Durá, was in charge of giving a talk on the specific problems with the taxation of artists and sportsman.

Other international tax experts from different parts of the world also participated in the event, which was held at the Van Donge & De Roo Stadion (Excelsior soccer stadium).
